Sometimes you have to go back to where you started to get to where you want to go. DaBoyWay, one of the most popular Thai MCs ever, was raised in Brooklyn, New York, and he’ll be doing a show with another popular Thai MC, Twopee, plus some friends, at S.O.B.’s this Sunday night. Also on the bill are Radio3000, Young Lyxx, and DJs Stayhigh, Kastone, Fatfingaz, and Day. Thailand will be fully represented in NYC for sure.

DaBoyWay got his musical start with Thaitanium, dropping albums in 2000 and 2002 from New York City which got huge in Thailand. Thaitanium soon became a household name in Thailand and they toured all over the world. Now, Thaitanium members run their own projects and DaBoyWay has his solo career. He signed with Def Jam Southeast Asia in 2019 with other Asain rappers Joe Flizzow of Malaysia, A. Nayaka of Indonesia, and Singaporean rappers Yung Raja, Alif, and Fariz Jabba.

Twopee has been making a lot of moves in 2021. He’s rapping on the Asian drill sound with Wilai in ‘International Mami,’ he’s been a puppet with Younggu in ‘WAAN,’ and turning the party out in ‘LIT’ with KH and FIIXED.

Both of the headline MCs and the undercard are sure to bring it to the stage and show NYC some things they don’t get to see every day.
