I think it’s important to find something that represents you as an artist, something that shows your style, talent, and personality. Make sure your content is unique and it stands out from all the other content on the internet.

As an artist signed to a label you kind of start out thinking everything is taken care of for you but then you kind of realize when it comes to promotions for your music there’s only so much your label can do. So that’s why it’s important for artists to build up their own platforms and following.

It’s best when you are comfortable with your content, so don’t try to do something just because it's trending. Your content represents your style and brand so make sure it suits your aesthetic. When you’re making your own content, you’ve gotta make sure you actually like what you’re doing, or else people can tell that you’re just jumping on the bandwagon.

Don’t be afraid to get too personal. People like to see real emotions and different sides of you, so just be you! It’s important to connect with your audience, so short vlogs and clips of you doing stuff behind the scenes are great! Lastly, just have fun! Don’t take it too seriously. There are always haters that will try to take you down. Don’t mind them, focus on what you love and the people that love you.

It’s all there so there’s no excuse. If you can do all the behind-the-scenes stuff yourself, it’ll save you a lot of time.
