This past weekend, Rolling Loud, Hip Hop’s biggest music festival, hit Toronto. With headline acts like Future, Wizkid, and Dave, as well as megastars like Migos, Skepta, Roddy Rich, and Lil Yachty, the whole experience was off the charts, and a great way to wind down summer in the Six.

After Rolling Loud Miami in July, the announcement came that the festival was heading to The Land of Smiles. So after Rolling Loud Toronto, the festival had a little party in Bangkok, Thailand to hype up the people for their first foray into Asia in April of 2023. On September 14, Rolling Loud hosted a press conference with government officials at CentralWorldLive. They announced that the festival would take place April 13 to 15 at The Legend Siam Amusement Park in Pattaya. Instead of just a regular press conference, this one had all of Thailand’s hottest Hip Hop stars including Youngohm, Thaitanium, FIIXED, and 1MILL, as well as many more acts who hope to be on the bill in April. Even Memphis Bleek was there to give support.

The co-founders of Rolling Loud, Matt Zingler and Tariq Cherif, said in a joint statement, “We’re proud and honored to have Thailand host our first festival in Asia. Rolling Loud has been looking to expand to Asia for a while, and we’re confident that Thailand is the perfect setting. Our local partners are pulling out all the stops to make Thailand one of our most exciting events on any continent. We can’t wait to bring the amazing energy of Rolling Loud to the people of Thailand, and as always, showcase the best of the local Rap scene.”
