FIIXD, Sprite & Wheelchairboy make big waves in ‘TURNT’

All aboard the ill party yacht

Thailand hypemaster FIIXD has been on a roll with three hot releases already in 2022, and he’s just getting started. For his latest release, ‘TURNT,’ the rapper enlists 16-year-old Sprite and newcomer Wheelchairboy for a big Trap banger.

‘TURNT’ is built on a hypnotic synth riff that sounds like the soundtrack of the funhouse at a carnival. As soon as the bass drops, FIIXD unleashes his beast-mode hyperbolic bars coated with a slick veneer of Auto-Tune. Teen prodigy Sprite comes in with his own high-pitched verse, adding to the track’s ill sound. The underage rapper might not be able to pay for the party, but his squeaky voice can get it started. Adding to the mayhem, newcomer Wheelchairboy [who’s rhyming and busting moves from his wheelchair] drops in for a hot 16 and leaves no prisoners. FIIXD wraps up the track over the crazy catchy beat produced by NINO.

The fun visual takes place on a yacht with jet skis circling the party, and FIIXD, Sprite, Wheelchairboy and their crew just bugging out in the middle of the ocean, giving you a 360 view of a perfect Thai day under a cloudless blue sky. Refreshingly, there are no bikini-clad hotties in this one - it’s just for the fellas. But it’s Wheelchairboy who steals the show with his handstand on a wheelchair as he casually drops his bars while the rest of the crew cheer him on.

‘TURNT’ marks the first collab between FIIXD and Sprite, two of the most prominent figures on the Thai scene currently. The chemistry is infectious, and it seems their fans are loving it, with the video already gaining 150k views within 24 hours. Wheelchairboy has had minor success with his appearances on Show Me The Money two years ago, and this might just kick his career into high gear.
