It’s a great time for female MCs in Hip Hop. For many years, there could only be one or possibly two top-tier ladies in Hip Hop at the same time. Now, we’ve got a whole slew of females out there and they are killing it. From Megan Thee Stallion to RAMENGVRL to Cardi B to MRS M, the ladies are here and they are ushering in a new era of Hip Hop and we love to see it.

There’s one female MC who is a monster on the mic and the charts, and who is head and shoulders above her competition. Nicki Minaj just became the first female rapper to top 25 billion streams on Spotify. To understand how insane this statistic is, we have to look at the men. There are four MCs higher than her: Drake, Eminem, Travis Scott, and Ye. The top 10 rounds out with all men, too. Juice WRLD, Kendrick Lamar, Future, XXXTentacion, and Lil Wayne are right behind her.

Recently, Nicki has been putting out some heaters. ‘Do We Have A Problem,’ ‘Bussin, ‘We Go Up’ with Fivio Foreign, and the ‘Blick Blick’ remix with Coi Leray put her over the 25 billion mark and in territory of her own. There hasn’t been any news of a new album, but with these numbers, she’s got the crown on her head as the Queen of Hip Hop.
