Wilai turns the temperature up to boiling in ‘Water’
The official video has been a long time coming
Five months ago, Wilai debuted ‘Water’ on a WhoRunitNYC performance. The clip is clean and Wilai shows off her skills on the mic hanging from the top of the screen in the middle of Times Square. Since then, people have been asking for the official video and on September 26, Wilai came with the goods.
The video for ‘Water’ starts as every teenager’s dream. The kids go into class and their new teacher is Wilai, who is dancing around suggestively, assuring that the students will never miss a class. Soon, Teacher Wilai trades in the boys for her girls and they are seeing whose selfie game is the best.
LiFTED got wind of Wilai three years ago on a collab with Twopee called ‘International Mami,’ a Pop Drill banger that still goes hard. Since then, female rappers have exploded across the scene and are killing in all directions. Wilai has staked her lane and knows what it takes to get eyeballs on her work.
