Snoop Dogg is selling the best coffee in the world with INDOxyz
Not just any coffee, it’s Indonesian coffee
There was a viral tweet back in 2021 which hilariously describes Snoop Dogg’s ventures outside of music. The tweet read, “Snoop finished the game and is just doing side quests.” Although that was said purely tongue-in-cheek, it could be true. Snoop has done and seen it all throughout his illustrious career. Who’s to stop him from running a cooking show with Martha Stewart? The West Coast legend can do whatever he wants to.
Snoop has always shown love to Asia, and by extent Southeast Asia. In December of 2021, he released the album Algorithm [Global Edition], which featured Yung Raja and Joe Flizzow amongst others. The following year, he collaborated with Flizzow again, this time, they made a theme song for the Johorean football club, Johor Darul Ta’zim. Snoop was even sporting the team’s jersey.
Now, Snoop has partnered up with an Indonesian coffee purveyor, Michaell Riady, to sell coffee products under the name INDOxyz. As of right now, the brand carries ready-to-drink cold brews packaged in a can as well as coffee beans sourced from North Sumatra, Indonesia.
Speaking to Daily Coffee News, Snoop shared, “I’ve always had love in Indonesia, and Michael always took care of us when we were over there. He showed me the best coffee in the world and we made it happen from there.”
Snoop doubles down on that declaration. “It simply tastes the best. And I’ve been around the world a few times, ya dig?” While Snoop is known more for gin and juice than being a coffee connoisseur, this seems like a really exciting side quest for coffee lovers.
