It’s never easy to let go of an ex, especially in the digital age when viewing your past is at the tip of your fingers. Low G knows how heartbreak can mess you up, and he is here to help you reminisce through the remorse with a new release ‘An Thần.’

Featuring fellow rapper Thắng, ‘An Thần’ is the track you would go for if you are going through a tough breakup. Low G obviously understands heartbreak well, and he knows how to elaborately depict his melancholy. Low G‘s reserved rhymes add a layer of character while Thắng’s husky delivery gives the track some compelling emotion.

The music video is all filmed at a casual vlog-like pace and is simple like the track. We see the two musicians recording in a Lo-Fi style bedroom with their own mics and gear. They later hit up a pharmacy to look for Melatonin, trying to forget about love lost.

Fans are surprised to see Low G going for a love song, as the group Rap Nhà Làm which he is a part of has always been on the edgy side. Recently, the group was fined by the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism of Vietnam for writing vulgar lyrics that desecrated Buddhism and distorted the image of Buddha. The group has apologized publicly and promised they will never make the same mistake again. That track has now been taken down, but as they say, all publicity is good publicity. ‘An Thần’ has already amassed 1.4 million views on YouTube in 5 days.
