It was easy to see that the night of January 22 was going to go Flow G’s way from the jump. To start off the 8th Wish Music Awards, which was the first one live and in person in two years, Flow G and Nik Makino brought the heat with their hit single, ‘Moon.’ A bit later, Flow G performed another track, ‘Ibong Adarna,’ with a live band as well as the legendary Gloc-9.

Flow G wasn’t slowing down. During the awards part of the program, he won Wishclusive Hip Hop Performance of the Year for his song ‘Praning.’ The rapper also won five Wishclusive Elite Circles, which are given to artists who get more than 10 million YouTube views. For this part, he won two Bronze Wishclusive Elite Circles [10 million views for ‘Praning’ and ‘Moon’], one Silver Wishclusive Elite Circle [25 million views for ‘Moon’], two Gold Wishclusive Elite Circles [50 million views for ‘Moon’ and ‘Titig’] and one Diamond Wishclusive Elite Circle [with Gloc-9] [100 million views for ‘Halik’].

While the awards are great, one of the best things about the Wish Music Awards is that Wish 107.5 gives money not only to the artist but to the community. For Flow G’s wins, Wish made a donation to Adarna Group Foundation, INC., which helps kids with reading disabilities.

Other LiFTED favorites to win were Gloc-9 and JRLDM for ‘Lagi Na Lang’ as the Wishclusive Collaboration of the Year which benefited the Make-A-Wish Foundation and Philippine Cancer Society.
