While Yuki Chiba may be one of the biggest stars in Japan in 2024, what happens if he and his friends walk around New York City? Will he be recognized as ‘Team Tomodachi’ guy by anyone or will those tough New Yorkers just keep it moving?

These are the questions answered by Yuki Chiba’s latest video ‘ ‘誰だ/?’ which roughly translates to ‘Who Am I?’ The video is the run-up to Yuki’s big American debut when he popped out for Megan Thee Stallion’s performance at the MTV Video Music Awards, and where they won the Best Trending Video for ‘Mamushi’. Unlike that highly produced video, this is a handheld behind-the-scenes look at what is happening on the street. Yuki has his fly hat and bedazzled jean jacket in a lot of the backstage scenes, but besides that, it’s him and his crew enjoying NYC to the fullest. He even gets hugely popular Japanese actress and comedian Naomi Watanabe in on the fun.
