Thai VG released his long-awaited album PURPOSE last week, choosing 'War and Peace' as its standout single. The track, featuring Suboi, distills his storytelling strengths and opens a new chapter in his sound.

Unlike the harder, West Coast-inflected beats that have long been his signature, ‘WAR AND PEACE’ leans into something far more melodic. The production carries a Pop sensibility with lighter and structured arrangements that center on soaring hooks. At its core, the song is deeply autobiographical. Thai VG reflects on the battles he has fought both within the rap game and inside his own mind, and how those struggles ultimately shaped his sense of peace.
