2023 was a big year for the veteran MC Swings and his company, AP Alchemy, which he founded last year. AP Alchemy went on to release multiple singles, EPs, and even two compilation albums in March and May respectively. Besides that, they also had Monthly AP, a project that released a new track every month.

For its final run, Swings teamed up with Don Mills, and DAMINI for ‘적응 Remix’, which arrived on all streaming platforms on December 28, fully wrapping up AP Alchemy’s year. The track was produced by mil house, while the MCs Xeeyon and kweeel were credited as co-writers for the track as well.

Don Mills kicks the track off with his baritone voice and a relaxed delivery on his verse, before passing the baton to Swings, who kicks the tempo up a notch with his double-timed raps. DAMINI picks up from where Swings left off, spraying her bars with a fervor which shows exactly why she’s one of the best female MCs in the country right now.

AP Alchemy came out with guns blazing last year as they fired at all cylinders. LiFTED can’t wait to see what they have in store for all of us in 2024.
