Kendrick Lamar, Jack Harlow, and Lil Nas X have something in common. All three artists are nominated for seven MTV Video Music Awards at this year's show on August 28. Doja Cat and Harry Styles are right behind those three with six nominations, while Billie Eilish, Drake, Dua Lipa, Taylor Swift, the Weeknd, and Ed Sheeran all have five nominations. While just that lineup alone would make for an amazing show, other artists like Lizzo, Cardi B, Megan Thee Stallion, BTS, and more have also been nominated. Fans can vote on all the awards up to 10 times per day.
The MTV Video Music Awards ceremony has always been an excellent ride through the year's biggest hits. This year, the Video of the Year has been extended to seven nominees. Also, some new categories have been added like Best Kpop, Video for Good, and Best Metaverse Performance.
