Akeem Jahat, Lil J & more to perform at Majulah Made in S.E.A
The night will culminate with a Hip Hop afterparty
On September 28, Zendyll Music Agency and All That Matters will be hosting Majulah Made in S.E.A at Singapore’s *SCAPE The Ground Theatre. The event is set to exhibit musicians from the Southeast Asian region and is taking place in conjunction with this year’s Music Matters Live.
Leading the charge for Hip Hop acts on the night’s bill will be none other than the acclaimed Singaporean rapper, Akeem Jahat. The rapper who often raps bilingually will kick his set off at 10 PM. After which, the baton will be passed on to Lil J, a rapper who hails from Malaysia - he will be joined on stage by singers Aisyah Aziz and Wani Kayrie.
The night will culminate with an afterparty by HVT Entertainment, a Hip Hop and R&B label by Zendyll Music Agency. DJ Hanif will be on the decks for it, accompanied by HVT artists, AE$OP CA$H and Feez.
“I am very pleased that we are working with All That Matters and the Branded team to present such a crucial part of Music Matters’ return to the live stage. It has been two long years since the pandemic put a stop to live music. With the strong support of Somerset Belt, Majulah Made in S.E.A. will be putting the spotlight back on deserving artists in the region, and I am really looking forward to that,” shared Jon Chua, founder and CEO of Zendyll via a press statement.
There will also be other musicians scheduled to perform that night, namely Singapore’s Krysta Joy and lewloh, as well as Indonesia’s Hondo and Mikha Angelo.
