Ted Park searches for true love on ‘The One’

The Asian American artist has an Afrobeats banger on his hands

To be an artist in modern times, it’s of vital importance to constantly be putting out new music to grow your fan base. Ted Park has taken this advice and ran with it by releasing quality music, videos, and social media posts constantly, and it’s paying off.

Recently, Ted released the Afrobeats-inspired ‘The One.’ Instead of trying to sound like Wizkid or Burna Boy, Ted is unapologetically in his R&B bag on the track and it sounds great. As a writer, Ted keeps coming up with dope hooks and meaningful ways to talk about love in simplistic terms. While he’s building a career as an artist, writing hooks and songs for other people is definitely in his future.

The video for ‘The One’ has an easy premise. If a woman in roller skates and a short dress can jump down a few stairs, make her the love of your life. Then film that with a drone flying around and edit it up nicely, and you’ve got a jam. Ted Park is consistently Ted Park and that’s a very good thing.
