In the past two years, Skai Isyourgod has taken the world by storm. Instead of just being a sensation in China, he’s out in the streets and touring around Asia and the globe. Those tours have taken him to America, and the number one stop on any rapper’s tour, especially if they are doing a show in New York City, is the On the Radar Radio studios in Brooklyn.
Skai gets in the booth and drops his verse from ‘Wai Jiaoguan’ aka ‘The Diplomat’ with Project Pat. He really deep dives into his Memphis by way of China no frills rapping here as he flows smoothly on the track.
With a Gucci shirt and sunglasses, Skai looks like the coolest Chinese Unc at the bando. By being local but going global, Skai is giving the blueprint for international rappers to follow.
