The year of the 25th anniversary of Pokémon has been huge and will culminate with Capitol Records and Universal Music group releasing Pokémon 25: The Album on October 15. A few months ago, we got Post Malone singing ‘I Only Wanna Be With You,’ an updated cover from Hootie and the Blowfish, while he traversed underwater realms in a bubble.

With this latest announcement, Hip Hop will be well represented by Vince Staples, Tierra Whack, and Lil Yachty. Vince Staples released his single ‘Got ‘Em’ in August and will add a remix of the track by ZHU.

Lil Yachty is one of the final artists to be announced on the album. In a statement, he said, “I’ve always been a huge Pokémon fan, and I jumped at the opportunity to be on the album. I love the record I did for it, called ‘Believing,’ and I hope it inspires my fans to chase their dreams.”

Hip Hop is not the only music on the album, though. Latin superstar J. Balvin, Pop princess Katy Perry, Jax Jones, and others will also appear on Pokémon 25: The Album so it will appeal to the widest swath of people that it can.

Pokémon 25: The Album will be on all PSPs on October 15.
