mooncember is here with freestyles every Sunday

The Vietnamese, Chadian & Senegalese rapper is impressive

December is many things to many people. Of course, Christmas plays a huge part when people gather for meals with friends and wax nostalgic over the past year. December is also a time to set up dreams for the upcoming year, and that’s just what the Vietnamese, Chadian, and Senegalese rapper moon does with mooncember.

moon was raised in France by her Vietnamese and African parents. She taught herself Korean and English and moved to Korea five years ago. In September, moon released her first EP, Uncharted Vol. 1. On it, she takes all her cultural influences like Afrobeats, Drill, Trap, and K-pop, and throws them in the stew.

For mooncember, she’s not waiting for people to find her EP. Instead, she’s dropping freestyles each Sunday leading up to her birthday on December 29, and they are getting hotter each week.

She started week one by rapping on a mic in front of a pho shop.

Week two, she’s on the streets while other girls are getting mad about their boyfriends checking her out.

For the third and latest release, she goes crazy in a club environment with dancers and DJs all around.

Check out moon on her socials here and make sure to keep an eye out for the fourth freestyle that drops on her birthday this Sunday.
