Miyachi turns out Hong Kong Boiler Room

All the sets are up from a legendary weekend

It took six years, but when Boiler Room announced they were returning to Hong Kong, the energy was high. Tickets were flying so a second day was added at the beginning of May, and people got even more excited. Seeing people’s pictures and personal photos was great, but now that all the sets have been released, there's a lot of gold in those Boiler Room videos.

Case in point number one is when Miyachi comes out during tokyovitamin’s set. About an hour and a half into the set, the Japanese rapper rocking a salaryman look of a white shirt and tie, drops in for the last 30 minutes and turns Boiler Room into his office. The experienced MC puts on a clinic in party rocking over Trap beats. On his final song, he even rocks the mic over Migos’ ‘Bad and Boujee’ instrumental for the “Real ones” while he sweats through his business attire.

A few other Hong Kong sets are worth watching for the party. Yeti Out always has an unmatchable energy. YoungQueenz & N.O.L.Y are great live. TSHA brings soul to the Harbourfront.

One thing is for sure, Boiler Room won’t wait another six years to come back to Hong Kong.
