MILLI fuses music & motion as she performs Heavyweight album on TukTuk Radio

New days call for new ways of promoting an album

The good ol’ days of traditional media are numbered. The people have taken over, and now artists are jumping on podcasts and various platforms to do album rollouts. Recently, The Clipse had what many are calling a perfect album rollout by doing a string of interviews for their latest offering, Let God Sort Em Out. The Virginia duo did some traditional media, but mostly they did interviews with shows like The Breakfast Club or on platforms like NPR’s Tiny Desk Concert.

MILLI and her YUPP team are thinking the same way. She recently did a bunch of new songs for her latest album HEAVYWEIGHT when she headlined 88rising’s Road to FAM show in Bangkok at the historic Hua Lamphong Train Station. Now she’s back on the road, rapping her songs from Thailand’s most exciting way to travel around on TukTuk Radio.

Whether it’s day or night, people want to see what the hell is going on in that tuktuk. Once they realize it’s MILLI, cars, scooters, and other forms of transportation jockey for position to get the best pictures or videos. MILLI laps it all up. She’s an outstanding performer and loves the spotlight, so doing TukTuk Radio is the perfect way to showcase her album, cause some buzz, and get people to listen in non-traditional ways.
