Streetwear & fast food collide with McSpicy Alienegra from CLOT & McDonald’s

Tote bags & pins are just some of the items that will be available in Chinese McDonald’s restaurants

In 1992, McDonald’s introduced the McJordan Special, a meal consisting of a Quarter Pounder with bacon and barbeque sauce, fries, and a drink. From then, it was nearly 30 years until they started a collab with Travis Scott in 2020, which quickly sold out at stores around the globe. With the success of the Travis Scott meal, others like Saweetie, BTS, and even Minecraft and Krispy Kreme were soon to follow suit.

Now there’s a new collab in the works as the McDonald’s restaurants in China and CLOT are getting together for the McSpicy Alienegra starting on May 3. The collection is not a meal. Instead, it’s CLOT’s well-known Alienegra pattern inspired by the colors of the McSpicy batter which will be on the paper bags, tote bags, shoes, and pins.

Fast food culture and streetwear go hand in hand. For those in the know, getting a fresh CLOT tote bag while picking up some spicy McChicken sandwiches in Alienegra will be it for a limited time.
