Filipino artist Matthaios is usually known for his infectious electronic Pop cuts, but he’s switching gears just in time for the summer season. On his latest track, ‘Aye Mami,’ the singer makes a welcome foray into Latin Pop-infused Hip Hop. Teaming up with local emcees Dudut, Lonezo, and Deypi, Matthaios delivers a fun, sun-soaked anthem that feels destined for beach parties and late-night cruising.

The production is a pure tropical getaway, clearly taking heavy inspiration from global superstars like Bad Bunny and J Balvin. Driven by bouncy Reggaeton rhythms, swinging drums, and bright melodies, the beat to ‘Aye Mami’ provides the perfect canvas for the posse. Each artist brings their own flavor, trading breezy, melodic Rap performances that keep the mood incredibly light and playful.

While it’s an unexpected genre pivot for Matthaios, ‘Aye Mami’ retains the carefree, feel-good energy that makes his entire discography catchy. It’s a seamless crossover proving that he can ride a Reggaeton wave just as smoothly as his usual electronic beats.

The music video also sees all the artists having the time of their lives in Latin America by taking part in their Day of the Dead celebrations while partying with the local population.
