Khantrast likes to ‘Move It’ with On the Radar Radio

He brought Kazuo, Yerc, Deon, Saru, & Nickels Brice along for the ride

Khantrast has been on a tear. Anything he’s done since he put out ‘Landed in Brooklyn’ a year ago has been busting up the charts. Last week, Khantrast made a stop at On the Radar Radio, but instead of just doing a solo track, he brought his whole crew–Kazuo, Yerc, Deon, Saru, and Nickels Brice–along for the ride.

‘Move It’ samples Reel 2 Reel’s seminal ‘I Like to Move It,’ which has to be expensive since it was one of the biggest songs in Madagascar 2 a few years back. Instead of the cheesy synth-driven original, Khantrast and his crew Trap it out and keep bringing the chorus back in every few bars.

Khan is up first and he’s the ringleader, but this On the Radar Radio feels a bit like Eminem and D12. Kazuo and Khantrast go way back to when they were in an anime Hip Hop group, so it’s great that he keeps popping up. Yerc, Deon, Saru, and Nickles Brice all have dope bars and their fluidity to move to the mic at the right time is also commendable.

On the Radar Radio is a real gem. Khantrast is hitting all the right notes and representing for his crew. This makes ‘Move It’ a must-watch track.
