Hustlang Robber proves that quantity & quality can coexist on ‘Vô Định’

The Vietnamese MC’s grind is no joke

2023 is Hustlang Robber’s year, and no one can tell him otherwise. The grind he’s on is second to none – he has released not one, not two, not three, but 14 singles so far this year, and we’re only in June. While some MCs package those releases into an album, or even as an EP with lesser tracks, Hustlang Robber clearly doesn’t care for it.

It would make sense if some of the releases were subpar in terms of quality, but the Vietnamese MC doesn’t seem to ever miss. Quality over quantity doesn’t apply to Hustlang Robber – quality and quantity live side by side for him. His 14th single, and the latest of them all, ‘Vô Định’, arrived on all digital streaming platforms on May 25. The beat, which was produced by Benly and Codax, is minimalistic – simple piano keys come and go on it, while a steady 808 kick drum drives it.

Of course, Hustlang Robber absolutely murders the beat, displaying multiple flows throughout. He goes fast and then he goes slow – dictating the track’s energy through his bars. An accompanying music video was also released on May 25, and it follows the MC and his crew flexing on the streets and in abandoned buildings.
