Ez Mil has been tearing up the scene for quite a while, but he caught fire for his performance of ‘Panelo’ on the Wish Bus in 2021. The video of that song has over 78 million views, which prompted labels and record companies to discuss what could be done with the Filipino MC who lives in Las Vegas.

Earlier this year, Ez Mil released ‘Up Down,’ and the track caught Eminem’s ear. Ez Mil got the invite to Dr. Dre’s home studio in Los Angeles and soon Em and Dre were discussing signing the Filipino MC. Eminem said in a statement, “We’ve never been out there signing a lot of artists, and one of the great things about how we built Shady is how selective we’ve been. And it’s even rarer that Dre and I sign something together – but I heard Ez’s music and was like, ‘This is really special.’ So I took it to Dre. We both agreed it would be a great fit, and we wanted to work with him right on the spot.”

Eminem then posted a pic of Ez Mil, Dre, and himself on Instagram to his nearly 40 million followers. This is great news for Ez Mil because working with legends like Eminem and Dr. Dre gives him a leg up in the race to be the first global Asian Hip Hop superstar.
