Head in the Clouds update: NIKI Out in Cali; Manila dates added
The Indonesian singer-songwriter is out with COVID-19
As 88rising’s Head in the Clouds gears up for its two day festival at the Rose Bowl in Pasedena, California, some slight adjustments have been made. Indonesian singer-songwriter NIKI is out due to COVID-19. She released a statement telling her fans how disappointed she is by being unable to play.
We are heartbroken to announce that @nikizefanya will be unable to perform at HITC due to testing positive for COVID-19. She is resting and on her way to recovery! pic.twitter.com/02nebPBWpj

Taking her place on Saturday night will be Keshi, a powerful Vietnamese-American R&B singer. Also, Joji will be DJing as Yebi Labs for the headlining slot on Saturday, and will perform a few tracks, too.
Sunday night promises to be spectacular at the festival as Jackson Wang and Rich Brian headline the night. There is also an undisclosed grand finale slot on the schedule. Can we guess it’s going to be Black Pink?
In other Head in the Clouds news, the festival announced Manila dates, December 9 and 10, at the SM Festival Grounds in Parañaque City. This is the second stop on the Head in the Clouds Asian tour. On December 4 and 5, the festival will be in Jakarta.
