Hot off the heels of announcing that Head in the Clouds is expanding to New York for the first time ever on May 20 and 21, 88rising announced the fifth anniversary of the California version for August 5 and 6. Unlike most other announcements, their lineup hasn’t been announced yet, but they are likely to include their full roster of amazing Asian talent like Rich Brian, Warren Hue, BIBI, Atarashii Gakko!, Joji, as well as a lot of surprise guests.

After surviving the pandemic, Head in the Clouds went to Jakarta and Manila to bring the festival to Asia for the first time. Now, the party is back in the US with dates in New York and California for the spring and summer. In California, the festival will be held at Brookside at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena.

This year’s Head in the Clouds California version will be donating US$1 per ticket sold to the Los Angeles non-profit, Inner-City Arts, to help kids from K1 to K12 get an education.
