For the past decade, 88rising has been the leader in marketing Asian talent to a global audience. As they celebrate 10 years in the game, they’ve announced the Head in the Clouds Los Angeles for May 31 and June 1 with Rich Brian, Higher Brothers, G-Dragon, 2NE1, Dean, DPR Ian, MILLI, Warren Hue, DJ Porter Robinson, and many more. There will also be food by Mama’s Nightmarket.

In 2015, 88rising was founded by Jaeson Ma and Sean Miyashiro, focusing on rappers from the Asian diaspora. In 2017, Rich Brian, Joji, and Keith Ape played their first 88rising show with the Higher Brothers streamed in from Chengdu. Soon, the Double Happiness tour laid the groundwork for Head in the Clouds in 2018. Now an annual festival in LA and New York, there have also been Head in the Clouds in Guangzhou, China, Jakarta, Indonesia, and Manila in the Philippines.
