A$AP Rocky & Hanumankind get 10 toes in on ‘Big Dawgs’ remix
The collab the pair teased the first night of Rolling Loud is here
At Rolling Loud Thailand, A$AP Rocky tore the stage up with an orchestra, brought up a rowdy fan about to get tossed by security, and then teased a special guest. Soon, Hanumankind came out from the shadows and they went into the ‘Big Dawgs’ remix.
Not only did this send the crowd into hysterics, but this is one of LiFTED’s biggest predictions since we started coming true. An Indian artist [by way of Texas] has a track big enough globally that one of the biggest artists in the world wants to jump on the remix. This happened with Yuki Chiba’s ‘Team Tomodachi’ when Will Smith dropped bars over his track. From the photos on Hanumankind’s Instagram, it looks as though the two rappers were actually in the studio together.
The real question is - is the song any good? Rocky goes straight from the jump and gets into his pocket just right before Hanumankind jumps in and shows why he’s on that next level now. But here is the big surprise, Flaco didn’t do just one verse. Instead, he’s so motivated by the banging beat switch that he double-dips and goes for seconds.
Hanumankind of A$AP Rocky made history with this one, and Asian Hip Hop is only going up from here.
