Divine & Jackson Wang announced for Lollapalooza India

January 28-29 will mark the first time the festival hits India

For the first time in its 30-year history, Lollapalooza will hit India on January 28 and 29 at the Mahalaxmi Race Course. The rowdy and unpredictable festival that has been produced in seven other countries will have 40 acts over two days on four stages.

Asian Hip Hop fans are rejoicing as two of the biggest in the game - Divine and Jackson Wang - will be aboard the Lollapalooza train. Divine, who just one month ago released the Hit Boy-produced single, ‘Gunehgar,’ is bound to get one of the biggest crowds at the show since he is THE man in Indian Hip Hop. There’s no doubt that he will bring the people as well as his crew from the Gully Gang that will make his show unforgettable.

Jackson Wang has been on the road this whole year with his Magic Man tour. From Coachella to Head in the Clouds to Bangkok to India now, Jackson’s plan for global domination is coming true. His set will be tight since he’s been perfecting it at each stop. With the release of his Magic Man album, his fans in India will be able to sing every word right back to him.

Other international performers at Lollapalooza India are Imagine Dragons, The Strokes, Diplo, Japanese Breakfast, and Zhu. Other local Indian acts include Punjabi star AP Dhillon, Hip Hopper Parimal Shais, Nu Disco stars Madboy/Mink, and electronic artist Sandunes.
