Creepy Nuts’ 2026 has been a wild ride. They were at Coachella closing the festival’s Gobi Stage both weekends and impressing enough people that they were highlighted by Billboard magazine as one of the festival’s notable moments. Those Coachella dates were the first shows from their North American tour, and now they are opening for The Weeknd’s After Hours Til Dawn Asian tour dates later this year.
The Japanese duo is back releasing music with ‘Running Wheel,’ a chaotic Phonk-inspired track that swims in Matrix-style nostalgia. The song is part of Honda’s N-BOX CUSTOM campaign, which Creepy Nuts have worked on since 2021.
The video for ‘Running Wheel’ is a hyperactive club scene where R-Shitei and DJ Matsunaga are surrounded by club-goers for their performance. R-Shitei is a beast here as he spits in rapid-fire style while also changing his voice for specific parts of the song. Directed by frequent collaborator Daiki Kamoshita, ‘Running Wheel’ shows why Creepy Nuts is making waves around the globe.
