Arguably the most well-known outdoor music and arts festival in Hong Kong, Clockenflap has been the must-go event where music-lovers, art-enthusiasts and avid-nihilists all come together for an unforgettable weekend, watching local, regional, and international stars put on their wildest performances on the biggest stage in the 852.

While we are still waiting on the return of the annual event, the team behind Clockenflap is hosting an indoor showcase, Long Time No See Live on September 18, featuring some of the biggest names in Hong Kong’s Hip hop scene - Yellow Peril, Luna Is A Bep, Triple G, Yack Studio’s Novel Fergus/DAI$HIN/SoWhat and DIZIWASTRIPPY with his label mates Y5,LOISEY, and MAKA.

In addition to the already compelling Hip Hop lineup, an eclectic ensemble of Indie artists are also coming into play, including Alt-Rock band Charming Way, Bedroom Pop prodigy Anna Hisbbur, Indie sensation cehryl, Neo-Soul five-piece Fds/4eva and Old-School Indie-Pop band Science Noodles.

Riding the tide of the Bedroom Pop craze, newcomer Anna hisbbuR is definitely worthy of your attention. The singer, songwriter, and producer has been creating her music her entire life, and last year she got noticed with her debut EP [404 Is Found]. Playing relaxing tunes with timely and relatable lyrics, Anna hisbbuR is here to soothe your mind.

Charming Way

If you are a Rock & Roll fan, you don’t want to miss Charming Way’s live performance. By infusing 90’s Britpop with Canto-Pop, Charming Way hits you hard with sounds that are familiar, refreshing, nostalgic, and blissful. Get ready to rock with this four-piece alternative band..

Multi-talented cehryl is not your typical Indie singer. The Berklee College of Music graduate has an ever-evolving sonic palette that ranges from Jazz to R&B to Folk to Pop while she orchestrates every part of her songs, from production to recording and mixing. This will be the first time cehryl performs with her band live on stage in Hong Kong, and her dreamy, genre-fusing performance is sure to blow minds.

Fds/4eva

An amalgamation of Neo Seoul, R&B and Pop, Indie band Fds/4eva never anticipated themselves to be performing in front of audiences, as they dubbed themselves as ‘studio band.’ With inspiration and samples of Soul icons Mavin Gaye, Bill Withers, and others, Fds/4eva can’t wait to deliver their unique compositions of sound to local audiences at Clockenflap’s Long Time No See Showcase.

Science Noodles

Lo-Fi Indie Pop group Science Noodles has an origin story as unexpected as their music. Yuet, a Hong Kong guitarist, matched with Taiwanese vocalist Hung Ching via Tinder. Unfortunately, a romance between the two didn’t blossom, but a musical partnership was born. As the duo started working on music, more musicians joined their group and Science Noodles was formed. Grab your tickets to watch the Hong Kong-meets-Taiwan band work their wonders live.
