The wildly successful contemporary street art exhibition, Beyond The Streets, which was delayed by COVID, finally opened in Shanghai on July 25. The ambitious show is filling over 100,000 square feet with immersive installations, paintings, sculptures, photography, film, fashion, and more from over 100 of the world’s best graffiti and street artists.

The highly-anticipated celebration of graffiti, street art, and more comes on the heels of major exhibitions in Los Angeles, New York City, and London. BEYOND THE STREETS SHANGHAI is curated by Roger Gastman, noted graffiti historian and founder of BEYOND THE STREETS, and will showcase a roster of the greatest contemporary artists in the world, including pioneers like FUTURA, FAB 5 FREDDY, and REVOLT.

Produced in partnership with Perrotin Gallery Shanghai and CMC Live, BEYOND THE STREETS SHANGHAI carries forward the tradition of past global shows with a unique and expansive experience, featuring new commissions, rare ephemera, photography, site-specific installations, archival pieces, and surprises from over 100 internationally-renowned graffiti artists, street artists, and mark-makers that takes over 100,000 square feet of space. It stands alone as the largest graffiti and street art showcase to ever take place in China and is a must-see for anyone close to Shanghai.
