On July 25, 88rising announced they were bringing NIKI, Rich Brian, XG, MILLI, Stephanie Poetri, Warren Hue, ATARASHII GAKKO!, and SPENCE LEE to Jakarta on September 9 for 88 Degrees & Rising festival. On August 21, the Instagram hitcjakarta, which is an arm of 88rising, announced that the concert would be canceled due to unforeseen circumstances.

While this saddened many of the concertgoers, if the fans from Jakarta wanted to see some of their favorites in action, they could book a quick flight to Head in the Clouds Guangzhou, which happens on September 23 and 24 at the CHIMELONG MUSIC SQUARE. The two-day festival has a stellar lineup with many of the acts from above plus Masiwei, Dough-boy, Knowknow, Psy. p [be ready for that finale with the Higher Brothers shutting it down], and a ton of new faces added to the HITC family.
