On his first night in America in 2017, Rich Brian went to Rolling Loud Miami and met Ski Mask the Slump God. A lot has happened in the eight years since then, but Brian’s latest release, ‘Jumpy,’ is a full-circle moment as the two artists have finally gotten together on a track.

‘Jumpy’ is a lyrical exercise for Rich Brian, who is putting out his third album, WHERE IS MY HEAD? In mid-August. He self-produced the track, and it’s much more Hip Hop than the other two singles he has released this year. Both MCs get down on the track and surreal visualizer, and it’s sure to go down well with his original Hip Hop fans.

WHERE IS MY HEAD? is a departure for Rich Brian. When he was introduced by 88rising with his mega-hit ‘Dat $tick,’ the Indonesian artist was out on the grind that eventually wore him down. Now, his definition of success is something different. Instead of aiming for the Pop charts, Brian learned to play synthesizers and keyboards and has a fondness for singing on his new album. He’s also asked himself the question, “How can I continue to make music that I love more than anything else?” On ‘Jumpy’ and with the album WHERE IS MY HEAD?, Brian answers that question with each track.
