Two icons in luxury craftsmanship, MONKEY 47 Craft Gin and streetwear giant A BATHING APE, have joined forces for an exclusive capsule. This collection is amazing as it comprises of a skateboard deck, hoodie, T-Shirt, Hawaiian shirt, and a limited edition of MONKEY 47 Dry Gin. Each of the five pieces is in BAPE’s famous ABC camo pattern and comes in one of three colors - green, pink, or blue.

“Innovation and collaboration is at the very heart of both brands and for MONKEY 47, experimentation with new flavors, aromas, and partners is part of our DNA,” says MONKEY 47’s founder Alex Stein. “As a hand-crafted gin, we know how important it is for the end product to be a labor of love and we’re hugely excited to be bringing our expertise from the world of gin to fashion.”

Brand collabs are the hottest thing in retail right now. Because of their cross-pollination of brands and fans, there seems to be an endless supply of companies trying to find the right ones to work with. A BATHING APE basically goes with everything. The Japan-based streetwear founded by NIGO nearly 30 years ago, is still incredibly hot on the streets. MONKEY 47 has been designing craft gins for 12 years, so this collab just made sense for both parties.

From April 30, the MONKEY 47 x BAPE capsule will be available in 10 countries including Taiwan, Singapore, Hong Kong, Malaysia, China, and Japan in Asia. Collectors not in those places can try their luck on bape.com and monkeykiosk.com.
