It will also mark the homecoming of four Indonesian acts in rappers Rich Brian and Warren Hue, singer-songwriters NIKI, and Stephanie Poetri.
Joining them are the likes of Chinese megastar Jackson Wang, Japanese rapper Joji, K-pop group [G]I-DLE, and eaJ who was formerly in the Korean band Day6. Rounding up the entire lineup are the likes of Japanese duo Yoasobi, Korean singer BIBI, Japanese girl group Atarashii Gakko!, Taiwanese-American DJ Elephante, Thai singer MILLI, Chinese musician Veegee, Indonesian trio Voice of Baceprot, Chinese rapper Yanqi Zhang, Filipino singer Ylona Garcia, and Spence Lee.
88rising first announced the confirmed dates for the festival in August. It was originally scheduled to happen in 2020 with a lineup of Rich Brian, Joji, Higher Brothers, Stephanie Poetri, and Dumbfounded. However, the plans for it fell through due to the ongoing pandemic. Head In The Clouds will also be heading to the Philippines a week after the Indonesian leg–it is slated to take place on December 9 and 10 in Manila.
