Japanese skateboarder Yuto Horigome releases sculpture of signature move
You can own the Yutornado for only US$200
There have been two Olympic Games with skateboarding in them, and in the men’s categories, Japanese skateboarder Yuto Horigome has won two gold medals. Needless to say, he’s been a dominant skater over the past few years and now he’s teaming up with AllRightsReserved and DDTStore and putting out a gold statue of his signature move, the Yutornado, and selling it for US$200.
To celebrate his 26th birthday on January 7, Yuto will release a limited-edition sculpture made of vinyl and gold paint of the move that has been instrumental in helping him win contests, trophies, and medals. The Yutornado is 270° to noseslide to 270° off. This trick is so difficult that it was named after him. Yuto has a control of the skateboard and his body that is so smooth and other-worldly that anyone who watches him skate is in awe.
