The Do-Over does it again in Tokyo on June 22

One of the best parties in the world is coming back to Japan

What makes a good party? Is it the music? Is it the cost of entry? The cost of drinks? Is it the number of celebrities that attend? Is it the ratio of males to females? For the Do-Over, a Los Angeles staple that dates back to 2005, it’s all of the above and more.

Started by Chris Haycock, Jamie Strong, and Aloe Blacc [of ‘Wake Me Up’ fame], the Do-Over has a reputation so strong that they never reveal who the DJs are. Instead, people just go for vibes and when Jazzy Jeff and Questlove show up, it’s just a bonus. The best bonus ever, for sure.

On June 22, the Do-Over heads back to Tokyo, Japan for more madness at ODAIBA SHIOKAZE PARK from noon to 7 p.m. No one knows who will be playing, except the residents, and still, the park is full from start to finish.

Previously in Tokyo, Japan, special guests have been Skratch Bastid, Cosmo Baker, Four Color Zack, and more, so if you go, expect nothing but heat from the 1s and 2s.
