The Do-Over does it right in Tokyo Saturday June 24

The party is so good, they never say who the DJs are

For the past 18 years, The Do-Over party from Los Angeles has been supplying people all over the globe with a little bit of California sunshine. Founders Chris Haycock, Jamie Strong, and Aloe Blacc have built one of the best daytime events anywhere in the world because all of the DJs are kept secret. This means that anyone could pop in on a random day. Jazzy Jeff? Check. Questlove? Check. Biz Markie [RIP]? Maseo from De La Soul? D-Nice? Check, check, and check.

This Saturday, June 24, The Do-Over takes over Odaiba Shiokaze Park in Tokyo, and just like always, the DJs are a secret. Since 2011, the Do-Over has been coming to Tokyo annually, because it’s a great place for music and the surprise DJs want to spend a bit of time digging for records. Last year, the guests were Red Bull 3style World Champion Four Color Zack, the Beat Junkies’ J.Rocc, Cosmo Baker, and KM, along with residents Haycock and Jamie Strong.

One of the best things about The Do-Over is that they record all the sets and put them up on Soundcloud so people can hear how their favorite DJ played to an attentive crowd who just wanted to party all day.

Who will be the DJs this Saturday? You have to go to find out but know that the people in Japan know their music, so the DJs are going to be top-notch.
