Talilo bridges the Philippines and Pacific Northwest on ‘UMAGA’

NUMP joins him for a wake-up call you shouldn’t ignore

When Talilo’s family migrated from the Philippines to the US, they first touched down in the Bay Area before settling in Oregon. That early exposure left its mark, because on ‘UMAGA,’ you can hear flashes of that Bay bounce woven into his Pacific Northwest perspective.

‘UMAGA’—short for Magandang Umaga in Tagalog, or “good morning”—is more than just a greeting. It’s a statement and a wake-up call for anyone still sleeping on Talilo’s pen and presence. With an independent grind and a crew-first mentality, the track paints a grounded picture of Filipino immigrant life, balancing hustle, identity, and day-to-day reality.

The visuals double down on that message. Shot with a strong sense of community, the video finds Talilo cooking in his kitchen, linking with bikers, and surrounded by a cast of local faces. It’s less about flexing and more about belonging–showing that success is shared.

‘UMAGA’ isn’t trying to be flashy. It’s real, rooted, and full of intention. This is the kind of track that hits harder the longer you sit with it.
