Spence Lee has been rolling. The New Jersey MC, who is a mix of Chinese and Vietnamese, had a big 2023 by playing Head in the Clouds and putting out good music with 88rising and Mike-Will-Made-It’s EarDrummers. Now, he’s got Slim Jxmmi from Rae Sremmurd on the leadoff single ‘SRT’ for his debut album S.H.O.T.T.A.

S.H.O.T.T.A. stands for Soaring High Over The Turbulence Always and shows Spence’s ability to navigate through the complexities of life on the 11-track album. In a press release, Spence said, "I want listeners to grasp the depth of the new project - beyond just rap and the flow. I'm laying down my authentic narrative over some dope beats, showcasing the sheer versatility in my delivery… proving I can flow on any beat. It's about embracing my individuality and carving out a sound that's truly distinct and truly me.”

In ‘SRT,’ the two rappers are enjoying the finer things in life like sunsets, expensive rides, and matching chain wallets. ‘SRT’ burns slow, but has those after work on Friday feels.
