Rare’s ‘VASTRAA’ goes from dope freestyle to massive sensation
The internet gangsters ain’t scaring no one in the chat
Seven weeks ago, Navi Mumbai Instagram posted a few clips of a Hip Hop cypher on their social media account. One particular video with Mumbai rapper Rare took off, and it now has more than a million likes because Cardi B reposted it as a co-sign.
Rare jumped at his chance to shine and has just released ‘VASTRAA,’ which is that freestyle made into a song over a Trap-type beat with a dark bounce by Vizen. In it, Rare spits straight bars and has a crew full of energy to back him up. He laughs off the trolls by telling the internet gangsters they ain’t scaring no one in the chat. The song has gone viral because of Rare’s authenticity showcasing his hustle mindset.
Talking about his new-found fame, Rare said, ‘VASTRAA’ isn’t just a song. It’s a statement of identity. It represents where I come from, the grind I live, and the energy I bring, blending Mumbai’s rawness with an international Trap sound.”
