In 2024, Raf Saperra dropped 5 Deadly Venomz mixtape, which saw him riding the Boom Bap Hip Hop lane spit through a Punjabi-UK lens.With features from Conway the Machine and Dave East, Raf showed that he was working on a different level from other MCs.

Now, Raf is back in the mix with Venomz Vol. II, and definitely riding those Grizelda rhythms with a mix between minimalism, headbobbers, and hooligan anthems destined to cause trouble at live shows. Benny the Butcher makes his debut on a Punjabi record with ‘Butcher’s Scale.’ ‘Sanju’ gets another East Coast Hip Hop icon, Ghostface Killah, on a record rapping over a 1970s Punjabi sample. ‘Akh Dasdi’ featuring Mani Longia is one of those ones that will turn the heat up in a club or at a festival as soon as it’s dropped.

The full mix, out on Mass Appeal, is less than 30 minutes, but within those 9 songs, Raf shows he’s able to carve out his own lane with street jams and songs with big name guest stars.
