Balming Tiger frontman Omega Sapien drops international sex music with ‘Krapow’

It’s impossible not to get up on the good foot with a smile to this one

The second the ignition turns and a horn blares into rhythm, you know Omega Sapien is about to take you somewhere wild. ‘Krapow,’ the lead single from his Asia-centric dance album Leader, flips everyday street noise into a full-blown club weapon. For two-and-a-half minutes, the Balming Tiger frontman delivers what he calls international sex music produced by love.

Built on Thailand’s 3 Cha rhythm which itself is a rework of Latin Cha Cha, ‘Krapow’ stacks Baile Funk bounce with a splash of EDM and chaotic callouts in English and Korean. It’s global club music with no passport required. Once the beat drops, it’s impossible not to get up on the good foot with a smile.

The video matches the energy: absurd, colorful, and proudly unhinged. Buddhas dance. Six monks pile onto a single scooter. Omega bounces onto an eagle into the clouds like he’s having a fever-dream. It's a surreal street spectacle with Balming Tiger’s signature fearlessness.

Balming Tiger have always thrived on being one step ahead of the curve, and ‘Krapow’ proves Omega Sapien is just as dangerous solo. This is controlled chaos as he drops bombs on the dancefloor like Tsar Bomba.
