Collaborative projects have long been a staple throughout Hip Hop history. From The Sugarhill Gang being formed to the genre-defining Only Built 4 Cuban Linx to the exciting more recent pair-up between Drake & 21 Savage, rappers have always excelled at friendly competition to measure their proficiency and showcase their chemistry.

Nik Makino and Shao Lin joined the ranks of impressive Hip Hop duos with their project META MIXTAPE earlier this year. The 5 track EP was the best of both worlds, featuring the smooth crooning and intricate raps that fans have come to expect from the two Filipino rappers.

Nik Makino and Shao Lin have continued to show their chemistry in the weeks since release. As part of their Diamond Vibe Session series, the rappers have released live performances of each track of the EP in which they are rapping in the middle of a house party. Surrounded by partygoers, booze, and an unending stream of smoke, Nik Makino and Shao Lin provide the people with something to talk about when they leave.
