‘Never Dry’ puts Wilai at the center of Bangkok’s baddie universe
FIIXD & RAHBOI join Wilai for a track built for the dancefloor
If any city has an army of baddies ready for their own anthem, it’s Bangkok. And Wilai, FIIXD, and RAHBOI are more than happy to provide the soundtrack. Originally released in February, ‘Never Dry’ got its official video on September 5, turning the track into a full-blown celebration of Bangkok baddie culture.
Matthew James’s beat is aimed straight at twerkers and dancers, with enough bounce to keep bodies moving. Wilai opens things up by rapping about Dubai, Christian Louboutin, and trading in the old for the new. When FIIXD and RAHBOI jump in, they keep the energy equally wild, with bars about booty clapping, threesomes, and living without restraint.
The video takes everything into a Muay Thai ring packed with the aforementioned Bangkok baddies. Instead of punches being thrown, it’s hips, hair, and attitude flying everywhere. Wilai commands the center of the ring while the dancers shake, bounce, and turn ‘Never Dry’ into exactly what it sounds like: a Bangkok party anthem made for people who came to move.
