The center of Hip Hop started off in New York City, then it moved to the West Coast before going down south, where it’s stayed for a good part of the past two decades. Atlanta has traditionally been the capital of Southern Hip Hip, but recently, Memphis and Texas are getting a lot of shine.

Case in point is Mongolian producer MagGod’s latest single, ‘Rich Mongol,’ featuring Cili and Ginjin. This is LiFTED’s first time featuring MagGod, and his beat for ‘Rich Mongol’ sounds very much like the syrupy sounds of Houston. First up on the track is another LiFTED newcomer, Cili, who does quite well as he busts some rhymes in front of a ger.

The third person in this Trapped-out trifecta is Ginjin, one of LiFTED’s favorite rappers. He’s not only hardworking, by putting out quality consistently, but he’s also one of the dopest rappers in all of Asian Hip Hop. Period. On ‘Rich Mongol,’ Ginjin shines in the front seat of a Jeep as he rocks gold fronts and braids that would make Loc Dog proud.

With a killer beat, two extraordinary MCs, and a fly video, ‘Rich Mongol’ is where it’s at this summer.
