KAWS’ final collab with Squid Game is here as the show comes to a close
The focus is on the Chul-Su character
Spoiler alert! There is a new Chul-Su character in the final season of Squid Game. Like KAWS’ previous collab with the Netflix series, where the doll Young-hee had her hands over her face, Chul-Su is doing the same.
KAWS is as prolific as they come for modern artists, and everything he does turns to gold or at least ends up quadruple-priced on the resale market. With season three of Squid Game dropping on June 27, allrightsreserved and KAWS have made a Chul-Su collectible. The character, which no one knows what he does yet, has movable arms to go over his eyes and comes in Squid Games or monochrome colorway.
For collectors, KAWS’ Chul-Su is going to be valuable. It signals the end of an era when Squid Game took over the collective airwaves and had everyone speaking in Korean, playing kids’ games, and wearing pink outfits for Halloween.
