Karik, a towering figure in Vietnamese rap, returns to claim his throne as one of Vietnam’s premiere storytellers withn‘NHẬT KÝ VÀO ĐỜI’ featuring Thai VG. Known for his significant contributions to the Vietnamese rap scene, Karik has been instrumental in bringing the genre to mainstream audiences in his home country, specifically on his landmark collaboration with Wowy on the iconic track, ‘Khu Tao Song.’

With a career spanning over 15 years, Karik's journey hasn't been without its challenges. His rise from an underground artist to a mainstream sensation was met with criticism from some Rap purists who feared he might sell out. However, Karik has always stayed true to himself, determined to live his life on his own terms.

‘NHẬT KÝ VÀO ĐỜI’ delves into the struggles of Karik doing just throughout his career, highlighting the isolation and self-reliance needed to navigate an industry that often seemed determined to see him fail. The song paints a vivid picture of Karik attending his own funeral, reflecting on the betrayal and disingenuousness of those around him. It's a haunting narrative where friends and loved ones reveal their true colors, attempting to seize everything he owns.

The track explores the authenticity of human relationships and asks what it truly means to stand by someone you care about. Karik's poignant lyrics and the melancholy beat create a deeply emotional experience for listeners.

The collaboration with Thai VG adds an extra layer of depth to the song. Initially intended as a solo performance, Karik decided to include Thai VG after discovering many parallels in their musical journeys. "Thai VG is a perfect puzzle piece that Rik was fortunate to find," Karik shared in a press release, "With his experience and perspective, the song will be conveyed in a multi-dimensional, emotional, and more honest way."
